What Does Organic Matter, by Jen Stark

Jen Stark gives a new meaning to depth and color. Her hand cut paper designs are endless voids of color sculptures creating layers of patterns, symmetrical and organic. The type of mini-atmospheres she creates are mesmerizing. I truly respect her need to use so many saturated colors all at once, the rainbow never looked so good.

I originally saw her paper designs, but I finally went to seek out her website and found her drawings (one of them shown last). Her pieces are endless fun—globs of color melting into each other and swirling through 2D planes creating fun illusions.
